W12 is a laboratory single-screw extruder with a simple, compact design and easy operation. It is designed for processing thermoplastic materials (PE, PP, PA, PVC) with a capacity of up to 2 kg/h. Thanks to the very low material requirement (from approx. 100 g), it is especially suitable for educational institutions, research organizations, and laboratory testing.
The extruder can also serve as essential equipment for R&D departments in companies – for developing new products, optimizing process parameters, and performing quality control before scaling up to larger production.
The machine can be equipped with either traditional (analog) controls or computer-based control with a PLC and touch panel, enabling features such as timed heater start-up, drive control, peripheral synchronization, melt pressure and temperature measurement, safety interlock if the set temperature has not been reached, fault logging, and process data archiving.
W12 can be complemented with peripheral equipment (extrusion dies, cooling baths, haul-off units with winding, conveyors, pelletizers, etc.), allowing complete processing lines to be configured for various applications.

The W12 extruder is designed for laboratory processing of thermoplastic materials with an output of up to 2 kg/h. It is suitable for teaching extrusion processes, material testing, and preparation of laboratory samples.

W12 can be complemented with peripheral equipment and configured into complete processing lines for film production (blown and flat), strands and tapes, pipes and profiles, or pelletizing.
