EPR4 Push Rod Sensors

The EPR4 series are sensors with ± 0.5% accuracy ideal for food or medical applications requiring easy installation, repeatability and reliability. Technology Push Rod design is especially suitable for food or medical applications with the possibility of filled systems. EPR4 provide an industry standard in the form of an amplified 4-20 mA signal designed to work with DCS and PLC. The EPR4 model is available in various pressure variants.

Due to their resistance to high temperatures and pressures, which are typical for these applications, they represent a suitable choice for diverse uses. Installing the sensor into the mounting hole of the production line is simple.

The push-rod technology provides a design suitable for applications where a filled system may not be desirable. The EPR4 transmitters provide the industry standard 4 - 20 mA amplified signal designed to work with DCS and PLCs. The EPR4 comes equipped with adjustable zero and span pots. Optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available to provide melt temperature. The EPR4 can feature either the standard push rod configuration (see mechanical drawing) or a 1/2-20 UNF thread for simple and easy installation in standard transducer mounting holes (M561).

EPR4 Push Rod  - With rigid stem


Rigid Stem pressure sensors are easily installed into the mounting hole of the production line, ensuring a simple and robust design that is suitable for applications where the sensor is not exposed to radiant heat from the line and the electronics are not subjected to extreme temperatures. We do not recommend installing these sensors in a vertical position above the line (12 o'clock position), as radiant heat can negatively affect the sensor's electronics lifespan. In such cases, we recommend using a sensor design with a flexible capillary, which allows the electronics to be diverted away from the radiant heat, ensuring a long sensor life. The main advantages of this type of sensor include resistance to impacts and vibrations, enabling them to withstand mechanical stress, which increases their lifespan and reduces the need for maintenance. They also feature high accuracy, ensured by quality materials and advanced measurement technology, which is crucial for efficient process control.

Wera Click-Torque torque wrenches are supplied as switch ratchets (with connection dimensions 1/4 ", 3/8", 1/2 "and 3/4") or with clamping for socket tools (9x12 mm, 14x18 mm) for tightening torques from 2.5 Nm up to 1,000 Nm.
All Wera Click-Torque torque wrenches manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789 are supplied with a declaration of conformity.

Transducer Mounting Hole Cleaning Tool Kit

Installation of transducers into improperly cleaned or sized holes is one of the major causes of damage to these instruments. With this kit, the .312" tip diameter hole, the 45 degree seating surface, and the .451" hole can be cleaned. The kit includes a gauging plug which is used to verify that the hole has been correctly machined and cleaned. M10 and M18 cleaning kits also available.
 

Transducer Mounting Hole Machining Tool Kit

The Dynisco Transducer Mounting Hole Machining Tool Kit contains all of the necessary drills and taps to prepare a standard 1/2 - 20 UNF transducer mounting hole and the 45 degree seat. All tools included in this kit are made of premium grade, high strength tool steel. Care should be taken in the use of proper speeds and feeds, lubricants, and a method to assure continual alignment of each progressing tool. M10 and M18 kits are also available.

1480 Panel Indicator

1480 is a universal pressure or temperature indicator with one or double configurable alarm as well as optional linear retransmission of the displayed process. Ideal for use in extrusion applications.

1490 Panel Indicator

Indicator 1490 is a universal device with one or two configurable alarms, optional linear process variable retransmission, optional pressure sensor power supply, and optional Modbus communication.

UPR 900 Panel Indicator

The Dynisco UPR900 is a compact 1/4 DIN process indicator. The UPR900 can display your preferred production process values. Optional secondary input for displaying the temperature or pressure of the polymer melt all in one place. The secondary input can be a strain gauge to measure the differential pressure in the process. The UPR900 contains two standard assigned alarms with the option to add a third alarm.

ATC990 Process Controller

The ATC 990 series controller is a time-tested product that has received a new design and new functions. Compared to classic features such as pressure, temperature and alarm setting options, these new models are enhanced with the ability to monitor and record parameters to a USB drive, the undeniable advantage is the large display and interactive environment when setting up the controller.
