The PT4655XL models are ideal for measuring melt pressure in a nozzle or manifold for injection applications. The flexible capillary extends from its electronics housing to the installed tip in the machine melt, which guarantees unrivaled strength and extended sensor life.
Each model has a built-in signal amplifier that has an optional output signal for data acquisition or SPC / SQC control programs. The amplified signal offers better immunity to interference than standard mV / V signals. The sensors are supplied as standard with a 1 / 2-20 “UNF-2A process connection and a durable Inconel 718 membrane. Thanks to the cap nut, installation is very easy even in areas with limited access.
