Charity staff have a new car to help others. We are glad that a good thing succeeded and that we were able to contribute to the financing of this car. At present, Caritas has 43 cars at its disposal, which are used every day to provide a total of 19 social and health services and to ensure their operation. The scope of our activities is very large. It ranges from Horní Bečva, Valašské Bystřice through Rožnov pod Radhoštěm,
Accessibility to all clients is one of the priorities of field services. However, their workers do not only drive on "straight" roads, the service also needs to be provided to people in solitude, often in inaccessible terrain and in any weather. It is therefore essential that cars have suitable equipment, without which the provision of services would be very difficult. Not only would it be problematic to reach clients in remote parts of the region, especially in the winter, but also frequent breakdowns would be a major obstacle to quality and especially reliable service provision. By changing and supplementing the vehicle fleet, we prevent this risk.
